It’s a wrap for “Taipei Factory II: Soap Opera”

Last year at Cannes, The Taipei Film Commission presented Taipei Factory I in the Directors’ Fortnight. In 2014 Taipei Factory II, a joint film co-production with Italy’s Rai Cinema, has finished shooting in Taipei.

Composed of three shorts and directed by Taiwan’s Cho Li (“Soap Opera”), Hou Chi-jan (“The Thrill”) and Hsieh Chun-yi (“Luca”) respectively, Taipei Factory II is produced by Yeh Jufeng and Lee Lieh and features some of Italy’s most promising actors in the lead roles.

Cho Li’s “Soap Opera” has finished on May 20th. Starring Huang Chien-wei, Margot Sikabonyi, Michael Chang, Chris Luang, Ralph Chiu, Hsieh Kan-chun, Huang Yi-hsiang and special appearance by Sandrine Pinna. A romantic comedy that started with a relationship through the internet, the absurd yet humorous “Soap Opera” subtly blends the cross culture elements and overthrow your imagination till the end.
